About Me
I'm Val Smith — artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and photographer with nearly 40 years of creative experience.
My work lives at the intersection of fine art and commercial design. I've spent decades crafting visual stories — from published illustration to surface pattern design, brand identity to photography. My illustrations have been published in books and magazines, and my work has shaped the visual identity of multiple brands.
ValliKat Designs is where all of it comes together — curated, purposeful, and ready to work.
